Kodiak I Can Project – Summer Intensives (grades 8-12)
WHO: Students in Grades 8-12
WHEN: May 28 – June 14, 2019 from 9:00am – 3:30pm with an open campus 30-minute lunch break.
WHERE: Kodiak High School

Special Services – Extended School Year (ESY)
WHO: Students who specifically qualify for this service.
WHEN: May 29- June 28, 2019. No school on Fridays

Summer Enhancement (grades K-5)
WHO: Students in Grade K-5
WHEN: May 29-June 27, 2019
WHERE: Main Elementary School
SESSION TIME 8:30-11:30am. Additionally, Breakfast 8-8:30 am & Lunch 11:30am -1pm
HOW TO ENROLL: Teacher recommended program
TRANSPORTATION: Pick up at North Star Elementary at 8:10am and East Elementary at 8:20am. Drop off at East Elementary at 11:40am and North Star Elementary at 11:50am.

Summer Food Service Program (ages 1-18)
WHO: Children ages 1-18
WHEN: May 29 – August 23, 2019, Monday-Friday
WHERE: Main Elementary School
TIMES: Breakfast 8:30-9:00 am. Lunch 11:30am – 1:00pm
Starting May 29, 2019, the Food Services Department will be offering free breakfast from 8:30-9:00 am and free lunch from 11:30am-1:00 pm for ages 1-18 Monday through Friday throughout the summer.
MEALS ARE FREE for ages 1-18. Adults over 18 accompanying a child can purchase a meal for $5.00. No registration or signup is required.
Sum’ Arts for Kids – Community Program
WHO: Students in Grades Pre K-12
WHEN: June – August 2019

HOW TO ENROLL: Kodiak Arts Council Website
The Kodiak Arts Council’s Sum’ Arts for Kids, held annually from June to August, provides quality and affordable arts instruction to young people ages 3 to 18. For more than three decades the program has engaged local teaching artists to work with Kodiak kids in visual arts, theatre, dance and movement, and the literary arts.
The 2019 program includes 21 class offerings in the visual arts, dance, theatre, and literary arts. Students are eligible to enroll in their rising grade (the grade they will enter in the fall of 2019).
