There will be a KIBSD Budget Advisory Committee Meeting on Tuesday, May 19 in District Services Conference Room F140 from 5-8 p.m. This meeting is an opportunity for the committee and members of the public to receive an introduction to the district budget, learn how the budget is prepared, and how schools are funded in Alaska.
On Wednesday, May 20th, there will be a KIBSD Budget Advisory Committee Meeting from 5-8 p.m. The Committee will meet at District Services Conference Room F140 and proceed to take a tour of KIBSD Facilities.
These KIBSD committee meetings are not Board of Education meetings. Members of the Board of Education have been invited and may be in attendance along with members of the public. This is not an opportunity for the Board of Education to receive public comment related to the school budget. There are no official School Board business items scheduled for discussion, and the Board will not take any action.
