Library / Media Center

Our school library aide, instructs students in checkout procedures, methods of finding books and other library skills related to the classroom curriculum.  Students are encouraged to use the library for research and leisure time reading.  Books are checked out on a daily basis.  Our Library is set up with the “Reading Counts” program.  This program is designed to encourage student reading.  If you wish to know more about this reading program please contact the Main school Library at 486-­‑2111, your child’s teacher, or the principal.  Parents are asked to remind their children when their library books are due back.

Classes in the school may have scheduled computer times in the library lab.  Classrooms teachers have access to iPads and laptops in their classrooms.  Students must comply with the technology use agreement.

Morning Library Reading Program opens at 7:35 a.m. in the library. Come check out books and get feedback by taking Reading Counts quizzes. The library is also open after school to check out books and get feedback from 2:50 – 3:00!
