Hello, everyone! My name is Sabrina Sutton, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Main Elementary. I am excited to begin my fifth year leading Team Main and my 29th year in education with the Kodiak Island Borough School District.

This year, we are beginning our second year as a dedicated 4th–5th grade school, and I am excited to continue building on the strong foundation we created together last year. Our students, families, and staff make Main such a special place, and I look forward to another year filled with learning, growth, connection, and fun.

Main Elementary holds a very special place in my heart. I was once a student at Main, and years later, I returned to this building as a student teacher. To now have the opportunity to serve as principal makes being part of Team Main especially meaningful to me.

Throughout my years in education as both a teacher and administrator, I have seen the incredible growth that happens when students feel safe, valued, supported, and challenged. My passion is helping every child recognize their strengths, build confidence, and find their unique voice.

I value the relationships we build with our students and families and the strong sense of community that makes Team Main so special. As principal, I am committed to supporting our staff, partnering with families, and making sure every student feels known, valued, and proud to be a Main Cub.

I am excited for another wonderful year together and all that lies ahead for Team Main. Every Voice Matters!
