PSAT Registration Now Open KHS is administering the PSAT test one time this school year on Tuesday October 27th. The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT test. Sign up in the counseling office. THere will be a test fee of $20. There are fee waivers available for 11th grade students who are eligible for Free/Reduced Lunch. Please see your counselor with questions. Study opportunities are available through CollegeBoard or the Khan Academy online. THe deadline to register is October 9th.

ASVAB Test November 17th The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Test) will be given at KHS one time this fall on Tuesday November 17th at 8:45am. This test can be used for entrance into branches of the military, and also gives students specific insights into career specific strengths. Juniors and seniors who are interested in career opportunities with the military branches are strongly encouraged to take this test. See your school counselor to sign up for this free test and for suggestions on how to study for the test.
KHS Swim and Dive will be hosting the 2nd Annual ALL COMERS FAST FRIDAY SPRINT MEET this Friday October 2! Come sign up using the QR code on the flyer in Mrs. Glenn’s window. Warm ups start at 5:00, racing starts at 6:00. Come cheer on the little kids, your high school friends, community members, and the Coast Guard swimmers! Rumor has it there may be a coaches’ relay too!
