Prom ticket sales are happening during lunch at the Snack Shack in the sports foyer from March 30 through April 10. Ticket prices are $40 for juniors, $90 for sophomores, and $140 for freshmen. If you are planning to bring a guest, you must complete a guest form and have it approved by administration before purchasing your ticket. Don’t wait until the last minute—get your tickets before sales end on April 10!
PROM is April 18. If you plan on going, make sure you are not on the detention list. Students with unserved detentions will not be allowed to attend. If you’re not sure where you stand, stop by the office to check. Detentions can be served in Room A128 any day during the first 30 minutes of lunch.
Formal – give away! Come to Thread Bear this Friday at lunch to check out our collection of formals, if you are heading to prom and still need a dress, we may have the dress for you! No Charge!
ASVAB April 22nd The ASVAB test will be given on April 22nd at 8:45am. The ASVAB test is used for military entrance purposes. The ASVAB is also a good career skills assessment to identify student career strengths. Free sign ups in the counseling office. Space is limited, so reserve your seat soon.
Key Club is hosting a bazaar in the high school cafeteria on Saturday, April 11th from 12:00–4:00. Think of it like depop, students can sell clothes, accessories, and other items. To reserve a table, contact Mr. Blair or Mark Salinas
Kodiak’s Choose Respect march is coming up on April 15th! Kodiak Island Borough School District is a sponsor of this event, so we encourage students to participate, registration begins at 11:30am in the auditorium foyer and the march begins at 11:45am.
BEARS AT HOME! Thursday, April 9th – Saturday, April 11th! Bears softball hosts the Spring Swing Softball Tournament featuring Colony, Palmer, Sitka, and Wasilla. Get out and support Bears softball at Wamwik Park Field. Track & Field hosts Grace Christian & Wasilla! Friday, April 10th starting at 3:30pm & Saturday, April 11th starting at 9am. Head down to the track and cheer on the Bears!
