DEED Registered Educator Apprenticeship Program

The Alaska’s Registered Apprenticeship for Teachers is available to current district employees. Apprentices engage in structured academic coursework alongside on-the-job learning (OJL) in K–12 settings.

There are different pathways available for teachers, as well as for paraprofessionals who are interested in becoming a teacher.
