Message from Ms. Kerry
Happy New Year! And Welcome to 2020!
I hope you had a splendid holiday season. I also hope that you and your family are ready to get back into the routine of school! For me, I love the break - but it doesn’t take long for me to start missing our North Star family; our amazing students and their families, and our incredible staff.
If you are able to find the time, please know that we love having volunteers join us! You’ve heard this from me before (and here it is again) - remember that children whose families are involved in their education are more likely to graduate from high school and go on to further education, whether it’s career tech or college.
Our Watch DOGS program and Partners in Education (PIE) volunteers are making a difference. There is ALWAYS room for more involvement from families. Let me know if you have ideas or suggestions. Thank you, and…
Thank you so very much to all our contributors for your support of our community.
Together we make a huge difference in the lives of our families.
Thank you to all the kids and adults who contributed to our water buffalo! Our order will be placed this week. This life-changing gift will help make the world a more positive and connected place for the future.
