Alaska Day

Alaska Day is celebrated every October 18 in recognition of the formal transfer of the Territory from Russia to the United States. Students in Mrs. Griffin, Ms. Jessica and Mrs. Nelson’s classes celebrated by making flags, going on parade through the halls, and watching a reenactment of the purchase of Alaska.
