Hello, everyone! My name is Sabrina Sutton, and I am so honored to serve as your principal here at Main Elementary. I\u2019m excited to begin my fourth year leading Team Main and my twenty-eighth year in education with the Kodiak Island Borough School District.<\/p>\n
This school year is especially meaningful as Main transitions to a dedicated 4th\u20135th grade building. Our community of students, families, and educators is coming together in such inspiring ways to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for our upperelementary Cubs.<\/p>\n
A little about me: Throughout my 28 years in education\u2014both as a teacher and administrator\u2014 I\u2019ve seen the incredible growth that happens when students feel safe, valued, and challenged. My passion lies in helping each child discover their strengths, build confidence, and find their unique voice.<\/p>\n
As principal, I\u2019m here to support our teachers, connect with families, and ensure every student feels proud to be part of the Main community. My door is always open, and I can\u2019t wait to see what we accomplish together in this exciting new chapter for Team Main.<\/p>\n
