I was hired in 2015 as the Activities Director for KIBSD.\u00a0 I was born and raised in Kodiak and I am alumni of KHS.\u00a0 I played basketball and softball through out my 4 years of high school.\u00a0 I went on to play softball in college.\u00a0 In January of 2001, I came back to Kodiak to help coach basketball and softball at the high school.\u00a0 I continued to coach softball for the high school for 8 years.<\/p>\n

In 2015, I got my dream job of being an Athletic Director.\u00a0 I love sports and love kids, so this is the perfect job for me.\u00a0 My goal as the Activities Director is to build a relationship with the students involved in not only sports but all the activities that we offer.\u00a0 I have an open-door policy and encourage all students and parents to come to my office to talk.\u00a0 I want students to feel comfortable talking to me whether it is about their future plans, everyday life, or how I can help them make good choices.\u00a0 I want to see our students become successful in everything they do.<\/p>\n

I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of our community and your students\u2019 life.<\/p>\n
