Judith Bruns, Principal<\/h3>\n

I am excited to serve as the Principal at Kodiak Middle School. I spent much of my educational career in Delaware schools where I served as a high school agriscience teacher for 18 years, a middle school agriscience teacher for three years, and a middle school assistant principal for six years. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Animal Science and Agricultural Education. After my children graduated high school, I pursued a master\u2019s degree in the School Leadership program at Wilmington University with no intention of leaving the classroom. However, once I entered the world of administration, I felt like I was home.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

I am passionate about working with secondary students and witnessing their transformation from uncertain 6th graders to confident 8th graders, and then seeing them graduate four years later, ready to take on the world. I am excited to continue working for our Kodiak families and I am committed to helping our students succeed at Kodiak Middle School. Go Grizzlies!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pam Gray, Assistant Principal<\/h3>\n

With 17 years in education, I am excited to step into the role of Assistant Principal and continue supporting students, staff, and families. I\u2019ve spent the past 10 years in Kodiak, Alaska, including 8 years at East Elementary as both a classroom teacher and instructional coach. Most recently, I taught 7th grade math before transitioning into school leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n

Originally from Maine, I bring a strong appreciation for community, hard work, and connection to the outdoors. Outside of school, I enjoy all sports and take every opportunity to explore and experience the natural beauty Kodiak has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n

I look forward to partnering with our school community to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.<\/span><\/p>\n
