ASVAB November 20th<\/b><\/span>\u00a0The ASVAB test will be given on Tuesday November 20th starting at 8:30am. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to sign up for this free test in the counseling office. The ASVAB test is used to give students information on their career specific skills, and the test is also used for entrance into the military branches after high school. Students interested in potential careers in the military are strongly encouraged to sign up for the test.<\/span><\/p>\n

Class of 2025:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0The Snowball Committee meeting is Thursday, November 14th, at 12:30 pm in Ms. Fuerst’s classroom (Room 119A). Bring your lunch, and let’s work together to make the 2025 Snowball dance fabulous!<\/span><\/p>\n

YEARBOOK.<\/b><\/span>\u00a0The price of the yearbook is now $75 and is only going up. Now is a great time to get yours while the price is still low. We will be having another sales event soon. But, in the meantime, please see Yearbook staff or Mr. Bennett in Rm 316<\/span><\/p>\n

Alaska National Guard Wednesday Nov. 13th<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Representatives from The Alaska National Guard will be at Kodiak High School during lunch on Wednesday November 13th. Students interested in career opportunities with the National Guard are encouraged to stop by their informational table during lunch.<\/span><\/p>\n

We still need 124 Federal Impact forms<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Please get your Federal Impact forms turned in! We are required to have a signed form from every student regardless of eligibility. If you need a new form please come to the office.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Star Elementary Alumni<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Help needed serving at the annual North Star Elementary Thanksgiving Feast, Friday, November 22nd. Stop by the Counseling office with questions and to sign-up!<\/span><\/p>\n

The KHS Nurses’ office<\/b><\/span>\u00a0is doing an audit of elevator keys and updating the lanyards to this current school year 2024-2025. Please stop by the Nurse’s office no later than Friday Nov 15th if you have an elevator key checked out in your name, so we can update your lanyard and complete our elevator key audit. If you no longer need an elevator key, this would be a great opportunity to return the key checked out to you.<\/span><\/p>\n
