US Air Force Representative A representative from the United States Air Force will be at KHS during lunch on Thursday September 22nd in the counseling area. They will have information on career opportunities and be available to answer any questions. They will also be able to schedule meetings with students and families while here in Kodiak.
PSAT Registration is now open The PSAT test registration is now open. The PSAT is being administered on Wednesday October 12th at 8:30am at KHS. This test is a practice version of the SAT. All SOPHOMORES and JUNIORS are encouraged to take the test. To reserve your seat, stop by the counseling office to sign up and pick up a Student Guide packet. The test will be free this year. Spaces are limited, sign up today. Registration closes September 30th.
School Picture day is Friday Sept 23 Order forms were emailed home, and are available in the office. ALL STUDENTS must have a photo taken for School IDs to be generated.
Spirit week is Sept 19-23 Monday: Monochrome – Wear any tones of black and white! Tuesday: PJ Day- wear your pjs to school! Wednesday: Kids Backpack Day- wear a backpack that kids would wear! Thursday: Sports Day- wear your sports gear! Friday: Sock-Free Friday- Wear your sandals, show your toes!

Please join us for Kodiak High School’s first Parent Teacher Student Organizatio meeting of the year. It will be at Kodiak High School in Room 119A, next to the Cascading Stairs at 6:30-7:00pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Our goal is to see what participants want from the PTSO and what they want to contribute to the KHS community. ASVAB Test November 1st 8:30am at KHS The first ASVAB test of the year will be held on Tuesday November 1st at 8:30am in the KHS Cafeteria. The ASVAB is commonly used for military entrance purposes, but can also give students important insight into career specific skills. Stop by the counseling office to sign up for this free test.
