Nov 22, 2021

Hello KHS students! Do you have new or gently used socks, mittens, or gloves that don’t fit you? Well, we have the right solution for you. The Kodiak Lions & KHS Thread Bears are having a fundraiser called Fingers & Toes. Bring in your new socks, mittens, or gloves to the KHS Thread Bear Shop which is located in the entrance of the CTE-Wing. When you turn in your socks, mitten, and gloves. You get the choice to send those to any elementary school of your choosing. In exchange, you would get a coupon for one of the giant cookies that the KHS Thread Shop sells, and your name will be put into a raffle to earn a prize. On November 22nd will be the day of the raffle to earn the prize. Let’s help the Littles stay warm & have a fun time doing it!”

Attention Students! Join us next Tuesday (Nov. 23) at lunch for an epic song battle. Singing starts at noon. Help your friends win the trophy by cheering on your dream team. Calling All Artists Anyone need new art supplies? Mr. Harrington is seeking creatively motivated students to help paint KANA buildings with winter themed window murals. This is a paid project! Participating artists will receive a custom order of art supplies of their choice. All are welcome—you do not have to be currently enrolled in Art class to participate! Interested students should drop into the Art room at lunch to speak with Mr. Harrington.

Attention students!! Vaping can expose the user’s lungs to harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, diacetyl and acrolein, as well as toxic metal particles like nickel, tin and lead. Not only is vaping bad for your health, it is illegal and can result in 5-10 days of out of school suspension. We want Kodiak High School to be a safe and drug free place for everyone. If you see someone vaping, or know about it, please tell a trusted adult.
