Hello KHS students! Do you have new or gently used socks, mittens, or gloves that don’t fit you. Well we have the right solution for you. The Kodiak Lions & KHS Thread Bears are having a fundraiser called Fingers & Toes. Bring in your new socks, mittens, or gloves to the KHS Thread Bear Shop which is located in the entrance of the CTE-Wing. When you turn in your socks, mitten, and gloves. You get the choice to send those to any elementary school of your choosing. In exchange, you would get a coupon for one of the giant cookies that the KHS Thread Shop sells, and your name will be put into a raffle to earn a prize. On November 22nd will be the day of the raffle to earn the prize. Let’s help the Littles stay warm & have a fun time doing it!
Drama Club The Drama Club will be meeting at lunch this Wednesday, the 17th, in Mrs. Haig’s room. Anyone interested in joining the Shakesbears drama competition team this year should come and learn about competition, tournaments, and defending our state championship!
Hey Bears! This Wednesday come to Chess Bear Lair (Ms. Daria’s Room A127) to congratulate our first Chess Bear Champion and five other best players. Also, we are starting new tournaments in our three leagues: Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced. Everybody is welcome, no previous knowledge of chess is required. We’ll teach you how to play the oldest board game in the world and then you’ll learn through experience. Who knows, you might be the next Champion! Dream big!
