COVID-19 Case Update
The Kodiak Emergency Operations Center has received new COVID-19 case information for the Kodiak Island Borough.
Thirty-seven (37) new cases have been reported for the Kodiak Island Borough since the last announcement on February 16, 2022:
- Five (5) cases were tested on 2/14/22
- Nineteen (19) cases were tested on 2/15/22
- Three (3) cases were tested on 2/16/22
- Ten (10) cases were tested on 2/17/22
These cases are classified as community spread.
The total case count associated with the Kodiak Island Borough is now four thousand eight hundred and twenty (4820) with one hundred and thirty-nine (139) cases currently classified as active. There have been one hundred and seventeen (117) local hospitalizations associated with COVID-19, and there are no active cases currently hospitalized in Kodiak. Eleven (11) deaths associated with COVID-19 have been reported for the Kodiak Island Borough.

COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus. Please take appropriate precautions to keep yourself healthy and to prevent further spread of the virus in our community.
