Dear Parents/Guardians:
KIBSD is aware of the upcoming weather advisory, and will be closely monitoring local conditions.
If the decision for a school closure is made, it will be based on a number of factors, primarily whether or not buses are able to travel. This determination would be made early in the morning, and be sent to families via email.
We hope that schools will open as usual, but if families believe the conditions are still not safe, please contact your school’s principal, and your student’s absence will be considered excused.
