Counseling and Student Services

  • In the event of Kodiak Island Borough School District buildings being closed to students as a result of the COVID-19 virus, the Kodiak High School Counseling Department would like to inform you how to access high school counselors, Providence clinicians, and other community agencies to support students and families.

    The Kodiak High School counselors will be available during normal school hours (Mon-Fri 8:20am-3:50pm) to support students and families with personal/social, academic and career development issues. Students or families will be able to contact the KHS counselors for issues including but not limited to the following:

    • Academic Support 
    • Postsecondary planning (college, career admissions)
    • Emotional Well Being
    • Graduation Progress
    • Community Agency Referrals
    • Distance Education Support
    • Communication with Teachers
