Kodiak Island Borough School District

In a partnership with Kodiak College, KHS welding program hosted a Rural Schools Welding Intensive last week. Karluk students David Reft, Tara Reft and Roy Naughton were successful in their testing and achieved certifications in various plate thicknesses. 90% of the high school students at Karluk School now hold at least one Welder Certification.
