From teaching students how to respect one another and their teachers at the elementary school level to bullying prevention in middle school to college and career counseling in high school, KIBSD school counselors truly help guide KIBSD students through their ever-changing worlds.

  • KHS joins National ‘Start With Hello’ Call-to-Action Week

    “Hello.” It is a simple word with a mighty impact, and Kodiak High School students plan to show its strength during National “Start With Hello” Call-to-Action week, Feb. 6-10. One of Sandy Hook Promise’s youth violence prevention programs, “Start With Hello” empowers students to create an inclusive and connected school community by reaching out to those who may be chronically isolated, marginalized or rejected to let them know that they are valued and are not invisible.
